Content guidelines
Last updated 5 October 2026
VuPage is a place to show real work, places, products and opportunities. These guidelines explain what we expect from everything you post, so Pages stay useful, honest and safe for everyone.
Be responsible with what you post
- Post only what you made, own, or have permission to share, including photos, videos and text.
- Keep it accurate. Describe what you really offer, with real prices, places and results.
- Think about who might see it. Pages can be found by anyone unless you limit who can view them.
What is not allowed
- Adult or sexually explicit content, and graphic violence or gore.
- Hateful, harassing or threatening content, or content that targets people for who they are.
- Anything illegal, or that promotes illegal goods or services.
- Scams, fraud, fake reviews, fake claims of verification, or content built to mislead.
- Impersonating a person, business or organisation.
- Other people’s private details (phone numbers, addresses, documents) shared without their consent.
- Photos of people without their permission, and never photos of children without a parent or guardian’s consent.
- Work that copies someone else’s content or infringes their rights.
- Spam, repeated near-identical Pages, or Pages whose only aim is to send people elsewhere.
Take extra care with sensitive subjects
Some topics can be fine when handled responsibly, and need care: health or medical claims, financial promises, regulated products (such as alcohol, tobacco or gambling), and anything involving safety. Follow the laws that apply where you are and where you sell, make no claims you cannot support, and keep the tone factual.
How review works
- Pages from accounts that are not verified are reviewed by our team before they go live. This is how we keep the quality of Pages high.
- Pages from verified accounts usually go live straight away. That is a matter of trust, not an exemption: the same guidelines apply, and any Page can be reviewed or removed afterwards.
- We may ask you to change a Page, decline it, or take it down if it does not follow these guidelines or our Terms of Use. If we ask for changes, we will say what needs fixing.
If you see something wrong
Use the report option on a Page, profile or message. Our team looks at reports and may act on them, which can include removing content, limiting an account, or closing it. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to an account being suspended or closed.
